Prestigious Art Deco Stainless Steel balcony
As part of a multi-million pound project at a private residence based just outside of Manchester, Pipecraft were appointed to replace a Victorian wrought-iron balustrade with a mirror-polished steel balcony to compliment the Art Deco styled interior and create an impressive centrepiece within the entrance area.
The task of producing the intricately curved structure was awarded to specialist pipe and tube bending company Pipecraft for its ability to handle the metal fabrication and tube bending all under one roof from its facilities in West Sussex. Being able to handle the entire project from the initial prototype stage to final finishing gave Pipecraft the advantage over other tube bending companies.
Working directly with the client, we brought their specification to life by advising on suitable sizes, materials and finishes, drawing on our specialist tube bending and tube manipulation expertise. The process involved the manipulation of solid tubular stainless steel rolled with a bow-fronted centre section, then lovingly fabricated without any weld faces being visible.
This 500 kilo masterpiece was finally mirror-polished before being carefully wrapped and delivered to the client’s property.
The end result is a magnificent example of highly-skilled metal fabrication and tube bending brought together to create a stunningly unique piece of architecture that will greet everyone entering the property. Visit metal furniture to find out more about our services.
